European companies that are offering the best sustainability solutions have found an ally in Sustainable Fast Track. It is a programme driven by the UK Department for International Trade (UK DIT), in its commitment to the environment and its drive to strengthen international ties in a post-Brexit environment.
The 100 Sustainable Fast Track finalists come from 25 European countries. GreeMko has been selected as one of the three finalists in the financial services vertical.
As we read on the programme’s official website: “Sustainable economic growth requires societies to stimulate the economy without damaging the environment”. Companies that offer environmental or social investment opportunities are eligible for this award. Also those that are making outstanding contributions to green finance or that allow easier and cheaper access to green finance. Organisations that have integrated economic, social and environmental sustainability into their culture are also considered.
At GreeMko we offer a scalable solution to power the green finance market. In a very quick and easy way, we calculate the environmental performance of a company or asset under “business as usual” conditions. This analysis allows the stakeholders (financial institution and company) to negotiate the KPIs associated with the green loan. It also provides access to automatic monitoring and control of these parameters. Finally, it serves as a communication platform, whether it is a bilateral or syndicated loan, as the tool allows access to different users and roles.
Sustainable Fast Track winners receive practical and personalised assistance to accelerate growth, internationalise their business and access green finance. This is one of the programmes through which the DIT encourages international companies to enter the UK and aims to promote and support the best companies in Europe with the best digital technology and offering sustainable products and services, hoping to contribute to the creation of an increasingly sustainable future for all. For GreeMko, it is undoubtedly a recognition of its work to promote the green finance market.
